| Taking a break from math, yucks, I'm rusty already. Bring on the WD-40 mate!
This week's gonna be a short one cos of EASTER WHOOOT. This is a much needed day off but it also means I'm 65 bucks poorer this week DAMN. If I ever get voted into parliament I shall speak up for the rights of relief teachers lol. It's our godforsaken right to get paid leave, we still need to get through the day.
Lissa gives great geog lessons! Synthesized the concepts really well, this is the first time I actually understood Greek atmo. And she does these really awesome mind maps so it's easy to take one look and get the gist of it. But she has this strong opposition to consuming anything that's remotely tasty. I get the idea that she thinks anything that;s good to eat is unhealthy even DRIED CRANBERIES which is as healthy as it gets for me.

Ugh my entire life seems to be spinning outta control and it's making me a tad too dizzy. Still trying to adapt to the new school. I always take a long time to warm up, be it in a friend's house or at a new workplace or in a new class...by the time I actually get used to everyone/everything it's time to move on. Like in my previous school I only started making myself at home during the NINTH WEEK? And even then I couldn't really say I was completely at ease with everyone yet.

Chendol! One of Life's simplest (and cheapest) pleasures. See the green slimy stuff? I sneezed into it and those are my boogers. Heh I joke I joke. Hah that'll put you guys off the dessert for quite a while.(drop in Dd, curve shifts to the left, Px decreases===> cheaper chendol) Had this last saturday. Totally beats Ben and Jerry's overpriced ice cream anytime. Had this last Saturday. Oh and there's this ice cream place called the Daily scoop...their chendol flavoured ice cream is to die for...but it's not half has good as the real thing =]]]
These days I always tell myself that I can never be too close to someone...one moment you're like best pals and they next you're distant acquaintences...which is the all-too-sad reality I have so often found it hard to come to terms with... especially when you're out of school and in the fricken Rat Race of Life. Must be prepared to let go of anyone anytime and move on, look forward to other things, other people. Friends come and go, I've learnt to accept that =]]
On a completely irrelevant note, thank you Charm and Jav for spending hours to take my mind off certain issues every night, and Shuhui for keeping me occupied online. And Lissa for helping me out with my ever so hopeless geog. And Xinyue for offering me moral support.

Gonna do more summation EW EW EW. There are some things about me that haven't changed and that will be my UNDYING FULL FLEDGED PASSIONATE HATRED FOR MATH. Omg I can't believe I messaged my tuition teacher last year to tell her that the paper was manageable and that I was done with math for life I SHOULDA JUST KEPT MY MOUTH SHUT cos I think I jinxed it. >.<

Got the individual point charts done up for my class. I singlehandedly decorated them to make it look more enticing...kids learn better with colors...methinks =)))) But ah, administering the stickers will be the tricky part. I have to overcome STICKEROPHOBIA *gags* (this is a mega hint to anyone who loves placing sticky notes on my table. you guys are the first on my hate list) DEATH TO ALL THINGS STICKY ARGGH.
My students are making headway =) They're finally able to read reasonably well (albeit a little slowly) considering what they were like 2 weeks ago. Very proud of them. Got lost in the school while trying to find the math resource room. This school is way huger than my previous one. Staff are very amiable as well. And I have a lighter workload in terms of marking, but I have to prepare lots of manipulatives. My students are visual learners, can't really capture their attention with that dull write-on-the-whiteboard approach. They're still quite unsure of their multiplication tables though, which has become a main cause for worry. =xx Because most mathematical concepts are centred around multiplication. Fractions, decimals, money, model drawing...you name it. Shall do flash cards for them...don't think reciting is going to help much.
Played an April Fool's joke on Mom on wednesday...she nearly jumped out of her skin. Lol. Told her I needed to get a lawyer because I had committed a certain crime...and she called me IMMEDIATELY LOL. And she showed the SMS to her friend who totally freaked out as well. LMFAO. And I played the same trick on Javier...yielded a couple of FUNNY RESPONSES FROM HIM HEHE. Shiwan took it in hook, line and sinker too...but realised it was a joke when I asked her whether she was willing to take the witness' stand. Sylvia was uber shocked... had to wait 2 mins for all her replies. I still have the convo history. AND HY WAS SO UNCONCERNED AND NONCHALANT I WAS SO HURT....cos she knew it was an April fool's joke. And I played the role of an imposter...tried to fool shuhui...and succeeded. For 24 hours she thought she was talking to an Ah Beng who was trying to hit on her LOL. WHEEE I LOVE APRIL FOOL'S WHY DOES IT HAVE TO BE ONCE A YEAR WHY OH WHY.
Charm introduced me to BEEF JERKY. Actually I kinda knew it existed..i just didn't buy it cos it's always associated with DOG FOOD. But i tried it that day and it's REAL GOOD =]]] I was considering ordering some in bulk from Amazon but decided against it...musn't allow gastronomia to get the better of me. Instead I ordered a new pair of headphones (yeah i have a headphone fetish tell me about it).

| Got my results back and figured I screwed up pretty badly.Yeah that's what I get for being a full time rebel and a part time student. Looks like I have to wind up retaking the entire damn exam again >< Another road trip to Hell, anybody wanna hitch a ride? Or i might just end my life there and then. And I shall not spot questions this year, cross my heart. Shan't game anymore, I'm taking a vacation from World of Warcraft, just uninstalled it that day. Felt stabs of pain every time I deleted a game file. I was almost at level 60 GAH now I've gotta wait for another 9 months to work my way up.
Have to find tutors ON MY OWN. In the past this tutor-hiring business used to be my parents' department >.< Have a lot to learn this year. Managed to get Elsa back WHOOT she hasn't given up on me yet lol. Couple of my friends are retaking their A's in PJ, lucky bastards. Wanna experience school life again AS STUDENT. I WILL sorely miss rummaging through the disgusting mess in my tennis bag...then extracting whatever that's left of my econs assignment. And wolfing down hotdogs on tuesday before physical geog lecture. And smelling PIE KIA while making my way to the MRT. And seeing the man with the electric piano PRETENDING TO PLAY. (then when he takes his hands off the keyboard to rest and you still hear music tinkling you realise that it wasn't him playing the piano) I want to top up my EZ link card with five bucks, not ten. The life of a student owns a working adults' a thousand times over, I swear.
I was involved in the Great Closet Cleanout 2009. Happens once every ummm....10 years? Yeah, it's a massive attempt to clean up my room. Accumulated 10 yrs of junk. It got really bad during the exam period to the extent that I had to skip over the cluttered mess on my floor in order to get to my bed at night. That bad. >.<

Started work at my new school on Monday...and I have to say the teachers there are a little warmer to newer folks than some of the ones in my previous school (that's not to say they WEREN'T friendly, just drawing a couple of comparisons here) Students are a lil' weaker, but on the whole they're more well behaved. Still miss my class though, they were one of a kind. Lively bunch, don't get to see that in children everyday.
Miss a couple of peeps that used to perk up my day though. Like my table neighbour Mani. And my class neighbour-next-door Pearlynn. And that LSP tchr Gina. And that ass (she will wring my neck if she sees this) who barged into my class once to wreck up my point system and caused mutiny on board thereafter LMFAO guess who guess who no names needed. Naw kidding, kidding, she's a good pal. =PpP
XINYUE'S COMING BACK TO SINGAPORE IN JULY WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Can have some in-house company. I forsee a L-O-N-E-L-Y year =(( Sundays with Adam are all I have to look forward to.

| Hauled a couple of my friends to West Coast Park with the intention to cycle. We set out with high hopes.=)))) Sort of took the wrong bus and got off at the wrong stop. Ended up having to ask around for directions. Reached WCP in one piece (whew) huffing and puffing. Scanned the map once through when we arrived. I had this nagging feeling at the back of my mind, I just couldn't put a finger on it. Scrutinized the map for a second time and it kinda dawned upon me that this bloody place didn't have a single bike rental kiosk. Went up to a guy in Macs to confirm my fears. Yup. No kiosk. What a bummer. Was mulling over my thwarted plans the entire time.
Wound up playing at the playground (i hear sniggers.) =D Al tried out this Flying Fox (or something somewhat similar to it) thingy. Pushed her off from one end but before the reached the other she started travelling backward. LOL. Have to be there to watch the entire scene unfold in order to appreciate this..um..inside joke lol.
We climbed this net thingy which LOOKS REALLY EASY at first glance, but IT'S REALLY NOT. We spend almost an hour getting through the entire thing. I'm going to upload the pictures against Charm's wishes. =P She's going to kill me but ah, what the hell, I'll cross the bridge when I come to it.
